These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between you and us. Access to, and use of this website is governed by our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time without giving notice. Terms and conditions applicable to any order, however placed, are those published on the website at the time the order is placed.

This website, it’s logo, text and graphics, both in full and in part remains the property of Tailored Occasions Limited, and may not be reproduced without our permission.
You, the customer, promise you have the legal right to use any debit or credit card used to purchase our products. You also agree to provide us with details to check the validity of any debit and or credit transactions and that all of the information supplied to us is true. By clicking the ‘Place Order’ button you are confirming your commitment to pay for all items in your basket at checkout, including shipping costs.
Your order is an offer to buy from us. The acceptance of the order will be once we have dispatched the goods to you, and a contract will exist. Until then we reserve the right to refuse any part of your order, without giving notice, for any reason.
A contract is deemed to exist once goods have been dispatched to you.
Delivery Options and Prices:
Standard mainland UK delivery for personalised and non-personalised products is £3.95.
For non-personalised items orders will be dispatched within 3-5 working days
For personalised items, requiring printing only - orders will be dispatched within 7-10 working days (after client approval has been received)
For personalised items, requiring printing and / or assembly - orders will be dispatched within 10-15 working days (after client approval has been received)
Client approval for all personalised items will be required in written form.
Express mainland UK delivery for non-personalised products is £6.95 and will be dispatched within 1 working day. Express delivery is also available for personalised items, however you will need to contact us directly for prices, before purchasing your goods.
Delivery to Highlands and Islands including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands is available, however please contact us directly for delivery prices prior to placing an order on our site.
We also deliver to the EU, but only on orders up to 1.5kg. Please contact us directly for delivery prices, prior to placing an order on our site.
Orders are sent by either Royal Mail or a courier service. This is dependent on the size, weight and value of your goods. If a courier service is used, it is fully tracked, and a tracking number will be providing on your order confirmation.
If your order contains both non-personalised and personalised items, it will all be sent at the same time.
All our orders are dispatched in good faith but occasionally our couriers get it wrong and items could be delayed or even lost. We cannot be held responsible for this as it is out of our control once the couriers have collected from us. To this end we cannot accept any liability or claim for late or non-arrival of orders (fortunately this very rarely happens).
The delivery address will be where your method of payment is registered, however you will have the option to choose a different delivery address.
If you are not at home, and it is delivered by Royal Mail, there is a good chance it might fit through your letterbox, otherwise the postman should leave a sorry you were out card. You will then have the option to collect from your local post office, or arrange re-delivery.
If the order has been sent by a courier you will be able to track your order. You must inform us within 2 working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit, so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company. Please quote your order number in all communication. You also agree that proof of delivery supplied by our couriers, is sufficient evidence that goods have been received.
Our company is not responsible for any delay, or subsequent loss, caused by the late delivery of parcels using any of these services.
Generally all items are kept in stock but very occasionally we may experience delays in receiving goods from our suppliers which could result in a delay in delivery. If this happens we will always attempt to inform you of the situation. If we do not have all the items you order in stock, we will offer you alternatives. If this happens you may, accept the alternatives we offer or cancel all or part of your order.
Guarantee & Returns Policy:
We hope you will be delighted with any orders you place with Tailored Occasions, however if for any reason you change your mind, and wish to return your goods, our products are covered by a 14 day guarantee. A return authorisation needs to be granted before returning any goods. This can be done by emailing us or using the Contact Us form, quoting your order number. You will be refunded the full costs of your goods only. Please do not return any goods, unless an authorisation has been provided.
Items must be received within 14 days from the dispatch date. All returns MUST be unused, in a re-saleable condition, and in their original packaging to obtain a refund. When sending returns, you are accountable for the parcel until it reaches us, we therefore highly recommend that you use recorded delivery. It is also your responsibility to cover the cost of returning the goods to us. The company does not refund the cost of returning products to us, or the original delivery charges in these circumstances. Your refund will be in the form of the original method of payment.
Faulty or incorrect goods received:
If any of the products arrive faulty or an incorrect item has been sent, please contact us within 7 days. We will arrange to replace or refund the faulty or incorrect product. We may ask you to return damage items to us, prior to a replacement being sent. Please ensure that a proof of postage has been obtained when returning the products back do us, and we will refund any reasonable postage charges you may occur. Please do not return any goods without contacting us first.
Any personalised items, or handmade items cannot be returned, unless they are found to be faulty. Customers ordering personalised items, including invitations must ensure that the details they provide to Tailored Occasions are correct. This covers spellings, formatting, content and space is left for any embellishments or ribbons you have chosen. Refunds will not be provided on the basis that personalisation is incorrect after it has been approved, unless it is our fault.
Refunds will be made within 28 days of us receiving the goods in the form of the original payment method. The refund will include the cost of the original postage for delivery only if the goods sent were faulty or incorrect. In this case, we will also refund the cost of returning the items to Tailored Occasions.
Should you wish to cancel an order please inform us by email or using the Contact Us form on the website as soon as possible. We cannot be held responsible for orders that have already been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow the returns policy to receive a refund.
We make every effort to ensure that the images of the goods and items on our website are accurate. However because of differences between monitors the colour you see of the items may not accurately reflect its true colour.
The colour settings on your computer monitor may also not show the true colour of the items. For these reasons we cannot undertake to supply perfect colour matches. We do however, assure you that every effort is always made to provide as close a match as possible.
We reserve the right to alter our designs in the event of either certain components becoming unavailable or changing from our suppliers.
Any reproduction of designs, images or any other material from our web sites is strictly prohibited. All rights, title or interest in our web sites or any aspect of them, remain the property of Tailored Occasions Limited unless otherwise stated.
No aspect of our web sites should be copied in any way without written permission from Tailored Occasions Limited.
Payment is taken when an order is placed, and all prices are in Pounds Sterling. For orders made from the UK or the EU, 20% VAT is included in all displayed prices. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using a 128 bit encryption. We do not hold any of your credit card details.
All orders are secured by Barclays Secure Payments or PayPal. When paying by credit/debit card, you will be taken to a secure one page checkout facility. When paying by PayPal, you will log into your own account to complete the transaction.
Discount and pricing:
We reserve the right to change our pricing and withdraw any discounts without notice.

These terms and conditions are governed by and defined in accordance with English law without observing conflicts of law rules. When visiting or using any of our web sites you submit to the jurisdiction of the English Court in relation to any dispute arising out of relating to these terms and conditions or your visit to or use of the websites and agree to commence proceedings relating to any such dispute in the English Court.
